Outside School Nature Helper Badge
One of our goals at Outside School is to spend at least 40 hours per calendar year giving back to the park by spending time on community service. My students earn this badge as soon as they’ve volunteered at least 10 hours.
Read on to find out how to get yours!
Volunteer for ten hours in any one calendar year helping nature in your local environment. How you do this is totally up to you, so long as it’s outside a “normal” public or private school system! And, it’s on the honor system; nobody’s going to keep track for you.
